Vorwerk announced a new AI-powered Cookidoo Assistant to provide inspiration and guided cooking for users. With this new assistant, the Cookidoo function makes it easier to search and find recipes, compare options, plan meals and find answers to a wide range of cooking and recipe questions.
With Cookidoo, users can search more than 100,000 recipes using everyday conversational language for easy discovery. The Cookidoo mobile app takes this one step further with a recipe translation feature that helps bring people and cultures together through new recipes. Already available in English, Polish, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, German and French, the Cookidoo recipe collection is now available in Arabic, with additional languages expected to be added in the future.
This extends to the Thermomix TM7 device as well, which will now make Arabic available as a language option and provides Arab users the possibility to navigate the device in a language that feels familiar and is more accessible. When Arabic is selected, the TM7 display adapts to a right-to-left layout and switches to an Arabic keyboard that customers can use to type and search to follow guided cooking in Arabic.
The company stated that “traditions and food culture travel more easily across borders and languages,” and that the more than 100 recipes in Arabic now available through the device – including inspiration from Morocco, Algeria, Syria, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Tunisia and Egypt – will strengthen the connection between members of the global Thermomix community.
