Nature’s Sunshine Products, Inc. announced its financial results for the third quarter of 2026. Total net sales during the quarter were $116.6 million. When compared to the previous year’s quarter, this total represents a 9% year-over-year decrease. Gross profit margin was 72.9%, a decline from 73.3% in the third quarter of 2025.
Operating income during the quarter was $5.3 million, or 4.5% of net sales, which is a decline from $9 million and 7% of net sales in the previous year’s quarter. Adjusted EBITDA was $11.1 million, compared to $15.2 million in the third quarter of last year.
Asia continues to be the company’s market leader, with $55 million in net sales, followed by North America with $34 million in net sales and Europe with $22 million in net sales. All market regions showed a net sales percentage decline with the exception of Latin America and “Other,” which grew by 3.4%.
“Our third-quarter results were disappointing and fell short of our expectations,” said Ken Romanzi, Nature’s Sunshine CEO. “We faced several challenges in our business, particularly in China and in our Digital business. In China, operational disruptions have had a more significant impact on our consultant leadership base than we initially anticipated which we have already begun rebuilding. Further, following several quarters of exceptional growth in our Digital business, we are continuing to invest in this critical part of our portfolio to position it for the next phase of growth. While our third quarter performance was far from our expectations, our confidence in the long-term potential of Nature’s Sunshine remains strong.”
The company ended the quarter with cash and cash equivalents of $89.4 million with no debt.
