Amway announced that Anouchah Sanei has been named the company’s chief research and development officer.
In her role, Sanei will be responsible for leading Amway’s global R&D organization, which includes nearly 1,000 Amway scientists, engineers and technicians throughout the more than 100 countries and territories where Amway operates. She will report to Gan Chee Eng, Amway’s chief digital and product officer.
“Anouchah brings to Amway extensive global experience leading transformational change and driving innovation,” Eng said. “We look forward to leveraging her knowledge and expertise as we continue to develop products, solutions and experiences Amway Business Owners and customers around the world want and can’t wait to try.”
Sanei joins Amway from Campbell Soup, where she most recently served as vice president of Global Science & Technology. Prior to Campbell, she spent 14 years with PepsiCo in a variety of executive leadership roles including vice president of R&D, Europe, where she developed the European market R&D organization for food and beverages and owned the innovation, quality and productivity programs for the juice, snacks and breakfast cereal categories. While at PepsiCo she also created the Asia R&D center in Shanghai and was instrumental in creating disruptive, locally relevant innovation for China and Asia Pacific. Sanei also spent numerous years with Nestle in Europe and North America and led the innovation agenda and multiple R&D teams for pet food, coffee and other beverage categories.
