Digital fitness and nutrition program FASTer Way launched a new AI guide called Lumi. Built into the company’s reimagined app, members can take a photograph of their plate or supply a summary of their meal and Lumi works to identify the food, calculate macros and automatically log the meal. Lumi then uses this information to learn from the meals, workouts and hydration logged, then recommend meals and habits in real time.
Together with the company’s coaches who provide accountability, encouragement and expertise, Lumi uses intelligent guidance and an effortless logging system to take care of what the company called “the busywork” so coaches can focus their attention on what matters most in helping clients reach their success goals.
“Lumi is the most advanced technology we’ve ever put in our members’ hands, and I believe it’s the best tool in fitness and nutrition today,” said Amanda Tress, FASTer Way Founder and CEO. “But technology doesn’t change lives on its own. Our coaches do, and nothing replaces them. What Lumi does is give every member, and every coach, another layer of resources and personalization, so more of their energy goes into achieving results.”
