The World Federation of Direct Selling Associations (WFDSA) released its annual publication detailing the specific results and data surrounding the trends and dynamics within the direct selling industry, as well as global, regional and country-specific results.
Included in the report was an analysis of the industry’s global retail sales over the past three years, which showed an arc beginning at $168.1 billion in 2019, a sales peak at $175.5 billion in 2021, then a dip to $172.8 billion in 2022. Global sales representatives followed a similar curve, with 114.8 million representatives in 2019 climbing to 119.2 million in 2021, then returning to 114.9 million in 2022.
