Utah Business recognized Michelle Benedict, Director of USANA Kids Eat, and Helen Knaggs, PhD, Nu Skin Head of Global Product Research and Development, as honorees in its list of 2022 Women of the Year.
This annual award honors women who make an impact in male-dominated industries and selects recipients who show “steadfast determination to make the world a better place” and “forge new paths for women in the workforce.”
Benedict joined USANA in 2019 after establishing a charity organization called The Kids Next Door. Her prior experience as an inner-city coach and dance studio owner gave her a greater awareness of the challenges at-risk youth face. Her insight and ambition have been an integral part of developing the Kids Eat program for the USANA Foundation.
Knaggs is an experienced research biochemist who held professional roles in the dermatology industry in the U.S., Europe and Asia before joining Nu Skin 16 years ago to help develop innovate personal care and wellness solutions. Today, she manages a global R&D team of more than 50 culturally and gender-diverse scientists.
