Young Living will be advancing its sustainability efforts through a focus on regenerative farming, conservation, habitat preservation, supply chain and waste reduction. The company will also be building on its pledge to enhance biodiversity, implement sustainable energy sources and analyze every step of its global supply chain.
Some of these initiatives will be accomplished through new, unique efforts, including utilizing sheep as weed removers at its Simiane-la-Rotonde lavender farm in France, while others will be met through the redesigning of its current methods to further reduce overall waste and save water at its company farm.
“At Young Living, nature guides us in all that we do–from how we grow, farm and harvest our botanicals, to how we operate our farms and other facilities,” said Deven Patten, Young Living Director of Sustainability. “That is why our commitment to sustainability is woven throughout our entire business, from the products you can experience to our lasting positive impact on the planet and in the communities we serve.”
