The Coway Environmental Technology Research Institute has once again been recognized as an international testing laboratory by the Korea Laboratory Accreditation Scheme. The accreditation signifies that the lab has been evaluated for its facilities, human resources, organization and adherence to rigorous international testing standards.

In an online survey conducted by the Direct Selling Association for the United Kingdom, 29% of direct selling consultants working with DSA member companies reported that financial pressures and the rising cost of living sparked their interest in direct selling, with half a million launching their businesses in the last two years. 

Natura &Co, the parent company of Avon International and The Body Shop, announced it has entered into a binding agreement with private investor Aurelius Group to sell The Body Shop. The deal, which is anticipated to have an enterprise value of $254 million, follows Natura &Co’s $2.5 billion sale of Aesop to cosmetics giant L'Oreal earlier this year.

Avon announced a new era for the 137-year-old company with the launch of its first-ever physical retail stores in the UK, scheduled to open in the coming months. The stores will offer approximately 150 products, with the full product portfolio available only through its independent distributors.

Infinitus’s proprietary patented Folium Cyclocarya Paliurus Extract has been approved to be included in the Therapeutic Goods Administration of Australia list. With this approval, Infinitus has been approved to commence research and development as well as the sale of complementary medicines within the Australia and New Zealand regions for this ingredient.

Coway Co., Ltd. improved its environmental grading from the Korea Institute of Corporate Governance and Sustainability from a B+ in 2022 to an A grade. This ranking is assessed by KCGS based on three categories: Environment, Society and Governance.
