ASEA Founder Verdis Norton has passed away. Norton was known as a visionary and strategist and built his distinguished career leading billion-dollar companies, including Kraft Foods, before he founded ASEA in 2007. With his impressive background, Norton brought his worldwide marketplace experience to the ASEA model, which served to guide the company through its early phases of growth.
In a remembrance post, ASEA called Norton a “dear friend to so many” and included a visionary, encouraging quote that Norton was known for: “We are all at the start of something big, with great purpose, and right now is the moment that we begin influencing the future.”
“Verdis truly lived a life of significance and impacted tens of thousands of people around the world through his exemplary leadership and example,” the company wrote in the post. “It is impossible not to reflect on all that Verdis meant to each of us individually and to our organization collectively. Not only was he the visionary who made ASEA possible, but his legacy endures to this day in countless lives that have been impacted for good.”
