MONAT Global Corp donated more than $90,000 of its net profits from the sale of More than a Lather by MONAT, a body cleansing bar, to benefit nonprofit organizations working to serve children and families and provide education.
Of this total, $40,000 will be given to youth organizations through the company’s MONAT Gratitude Foundation’s $1 million pledge program, and will support youth entrepreneurship, youth sports and arts. The remaining funds will be donated as $25,000 grants to St. Jude Children’s Hospital and Ronald McDonald House of New York.
“I firmly believe in the power and importance of investing in our youth,” said Lu Urdaneta, MONAT Global Chief Culture Officer and MONAT Gratitude Foundation CEO. “By donating funds to programs that support their growth and development, we are not only shaping the future of our communities but also creating opportunities for a better world. Through these efforts, we’re able to help empower the next generation to reach their full potential.”
In 2022, the MONAT Gratitude Foundation donated more than $600,000 to more than 40 youth education programs.
