MONAT Global Corp, through its philanthropic organization MONAT Gratitude, donated $288,000 from the sale of More than a Mist by MONAT as part of its $1 million pledge grant program. Majority of these funds will help close achievement gaps in underserved communities by partnering with youth-focused nonprofits, but the company also redirected a portion of the funds to support communities in Puerto Rico, Florida and Canada who were impacted by Hurricanes Fiona and Ian.
“After learning of the devastation across Puerto Rico, Florida, and Canada’s Atlantic Coast from the recent hurricanes, we knew our resources from this initiative could be impactful,” said Lu Urdaneta, MONAT Global Chief Culture Officer and MONAT Gratitude Chief Executive Officer. “At the same time, we were able to channel significant funds to continue pursuing our goal of donating $1M to youth education programs across the globe. Both efforts are helping make a big difference in communities across the globe, and that’s exactly what MONAT Gratitude was created to do.”
In 2022, MONAT Gratitude has donated more than $600,000 to more than 40 youth education programs.
