Coway Co., Ltd. was recognized at the Good Design Awards, hosted by the Japan Institute of Design Promotion (JDP) for three of its home appliance products, including the Icon Ice Water Purifier (CHPI-7400N), NOBLE Humidifier (AM-1421G), and the air purifier Airmega ProX (AP-3522E/F).

Every product within Coway’s Noble Collection of purifiers, air care solutions and induction cooktop surfaces has now won an International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) honor.

In its second quarter financial report for 2022, Coway announced revenue of $754.6 million, an 8% increase year over year. The company’s operating profit was also up by 5.7% to $135.7 million. 

The rating of AA resides in the “leader” ranking of the MSCI scale and affirms Coway’s commitment to ESG initiatives, including its goal to become net zero by 2050 and reduce greenhouse gases (GHG) by 50% by 2030.

Coway Co., Ltd. announced an annual revenue of KRW 3,664.3 billion in 2021 and KRW 301.6 billion in overseas revenue for the fourth quarter of 2021. 

Coway Co., Ltd. has been included in the 2021 Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI) for the sixth consecutive year. The DJSI assesses governance, economic, environmental and social performance and features companies across 61 industries.

Coway’s financial report for the third quarter of 2021 included a 16.7% increase year-over-year in total revenue, or KRW 934 billion. Operating profit for the quarter saw a slight decrease (-2.9%) year-over-year, reaching KRW 163.8 billion.
