dōTERRA announced the results of its 2025 Impact Report, highlighting its efforts to cultivate responsible partnerships and practices to source its more than 250 essential oils and botanical ingredients.
In 2025, the company put all of its supply chains through an internal social and environmental risk assessment and found that 19 of its priority supply chains demonstrated measurable improvements in sourcing practices. dōTERRA also invested $807,971 in strengthening its sourcing communities and planted 83,126 trees in the Kealakekua Mountain Reserve.
“At dōTERRA, impact is woven into everything we do – from the way we source, to the products we create, and our Wellness Advocates who passionately share them,” said David Stirling, dōTERRA CEO. “It is reflected not only in what we accomplish, but in the people and places touched along the way. The numbers in this report tell an important story. But behind every number is a person, a family, a community, an ecosystem.”
The company’s sustainability practices included replacing plastic bubble wrap with 22,000 cases of recyclable paper cushioning and the diversion of 4.9 million plastic bottles through its dōTERRA On Guard and abōde concentrates, as well as a 35% reduction in natural gas consumption (since 2021) and the recycling of 390,280 pounds of cardboard.
“We know meaningful impact is never a finished achievement,” Stirling said. “Responsible sourcing, environmental stewardship, product quality and community investment require continual learning and improvement. Our responsibility is not simply to preserve what works, but to keep asking how we can do better. This is why we continue to invest in people, protect the gifts of the earth and pursue exceptional quality from source to bottle.”
