Amway hosted its fifth annual Amway Cares Week of Service, this time welcoming global participation across 12 countries. Volunteers collectively contributed more than 7,000 hours of service as they worked in farm fields and food pantries, built playgrounds and packed emergency supplies for families in need.
More than 1,300 Amway employees worked with more than 60 community organizations, supporting a wide variety of service projects that address food insecurity, expand access to fresh produce, create safe communal spaces for children to play and grow, and work to build healthier, stronger communities.
The week of service began in West Michigan with the goal of helping people live better lives. This year, for the first time, that mission connected employees around the world and across cultures and languages to demonstrate small acts of kindness and create meaningful impact on a global scale.
“Service is at the heart of who we are at Amway, and this event provides our employees the opportunity to live our values in a tangible way,” said Michael Nelson, Amway Chief Executive Officer.
