Mary Kay Inc. announced the debut of the K-Beauty Texture Edit, inspired by the self-care philosophy and influential skin care trends found in Korea. The special-edition skincare collection was designed to embrace the global cultural beauty movement that has particularly caught the attention of younger generations and features three Korea-made products, including:
- Mary Kay Melt-In Cleansing Balm – a balm-to-oil-to-milky cleanser featuring rice bran oil, vitamin E and salmon DNA
- Mary Kay Snail Gel Face Patches – cooling hydrogel face patches
- Mary Kay Collagen Moisturizing Gel – jelly moisturizer featuring collagen peptides, niacinamide and squaline
The new K-Beauty Texture Edit is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to expand its global reach and connect with a new generation of consumers, and builds on its recent brand campaign Beauty Is More Beautiful Shared.
“Mary Kay’s legacy has always been rooted in innovation, listening to consumers and evolving with the culture of beauty around the world,” said Dr. Lucy Gildea, Mary Kay Inc. Chief Brand and Scientific Officer. “The K-Beauty Texture Edit brings that spirit to life by translating global beauty trends into meaningful experiences for consumers and our Independent Beauty Consultants. As part of Beauty Is More Beautiful Shared, it also helps us build awareness and relevance with the next generation of beauty consumers while honoring the heritage that connects us all.”
