The Skin Cancer Foundation has named Amway’s Skin Nutrition skin care and g&h body care brands Bronze Allies of the Corporate Council. Amway’s Artistry brand was named to the Foundation’s Corporate Council in 2022 and supports the Foundation’s work to help people take a proactive approach to daily sun protection, as well as the early detection and treatment of skin cancer.
“While May is Skin Cancer Awareness month, skin care is a passion and priority for Amway every day of the year,” said Melodie Nakhle, Amway Global Chief Marketing Officer. “Becoming a Skin Cancer Foundation Bronze Ally strengthens trust and confidence in our products on behalf of our Amway Business Owners and their customers around the world.”
To receive the The Skin Cancer Foundation’s Seal of Recommendation for Daily or Active Use, products must meet rigorous standards. To meet or exceed these standards has become what Amway calls its “gold standard” that it plans to continue using in its future formulas.
“Caring for the skin is a pillar of our product development,” said Krisi Pelc, Amway Chief Research and Development Officer. “Sun protection plays a critical role in a daily skincare regimen at any age and in every season. We will continue to push boundaries in scientific discovery with products that meet and exceed The Skin Cancer Foundation’s rigorous standards.”
To date, eight Artistry Skin Nutrition and g&h SPF products carry The Skin Cancer Foundation Seal of Recommendation for either Daily or Active Use, while four Artistry Skin Nutrition products and two g&h products carry the Seal of Recommendation for Daily Use.
