Melaleuca announced that USA Today has ranked it one of America’s Most Trusted Brands. USA Today’s 2025 consumer trust study surveyed more than 24,000 US consumers and measured emotional connection, trust and transparency, customers’ likelihood to purchase, alignment with personal values and reliability.
Brands included were also evaluated for reputational integrity through a two-year media monitoring process that screened for legal, ethical and public trust issues. Brands selected for inclusion on the list had to pass both the consumer trust thresholds and reputational checks.
“In these crazy times, when people don’t know who to trust, it’s gratifying to learn that a national publication has determined that our company is one that consumers say they trust the most,” said Frank VanderSloot, Melaleuca Executive Chairman. “Forty years of keeping promises, quality products and ethical behavior by our management team, our employees, and our Marketing Executives have earned this recognition, which is really an endorsement by the American consumer.”
Melaleuca describes itself as “all about helping ‘the little guy’” and “putting people before profits.” As a privately held, debt-free company, it utilizes a unique referral program that helps families through financial independence and also supports humanitarian work for those in need and those who serve. Specifically, Melaleuca donated more than 24,000 pounds of beef to food banks in 2024, delivered products to local churches, food banks and shelters in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, and provided financial assistance to those affected by the wildfires in Los Angeles.
“Melaleuca is being discovered!” VanderSloot said. “Of all the awards we have earned over the years, I believe this is the most valuable. We did not seek this award. We did not apply for this award. We did not even know that this research was going on. But we are extremely proud to be named among the 500 most trusted brands in America.”
