In honor of Earth Day, dōTERRA released its 2024 Impact Report, highlighting the company’s commitment to environmental stewardship, sustainable sourcing and global humanitarian efforts.
Key priorities for the company in the previous year included restoring native ecosystems and responsibly sourcing raw materials in a way that supported environmental health. As part of this endeavor, dōTERRA planted more than 179,000 native trees in Hawaii, bringing its total to 611,019 trees since launching the project, as it works to reinvigorate ecosystems and preserve cultural heritage. dōTERRA also repurposed more than one million pounds of birch through circular economy efforts in Pennsylvania, achieving a near-zero waste production process.
Humanitarian outreach and initiatives were an important focus in 2024 as well, as dōTERRA donated more than $3 million through the Healing Hands Foundation to fund global clean water, education and healthcare in high-need areas throughout Nepal, Ghana, Eswatini and a number of other countries. The company also donated almost 100,000 hygiene kits to support disaster relief across eight countries and in 28 US states.
“Earth Day is a moment to reflect on our shared responsibility to people and planet,” said Kirk Jowers, dōTERRA CEO. “Our 2024 Impact Report is a testament to the power of ethical partnerships, purpose-driven giving, and community collaboration in creating lasting change.”
