The D. Gary Young, Young Living Foundation, in honor of Giving Tuesday, encouraged engagement with its Sponsor a Student program. Through a $75 monthly donation, sponsors help children in underserved areas of Ecuador receive access to a quality education. Sponsorship also provides students with school supplies, nutritious meals, uniforms and other resources necessary to succeed academically at the Young Living Academy in Ecuador.
Since 2009, The Young Living Academy has worked with a class of 350 students living in a region where approximately only 20% of students graduate from high school. The Foundation’s curriculum includes the building of soft skills, like teamwork, leadership and confidence, and encourages community service.
“The Young Living Foundation is deeply dedicated to nurturing potential through education,” said Arturo Fuentes, director of philanthropy for the Foundation. “In the spirit of the giving season, we encourage those in our community looking to make a lifelong impact to extend their support to one of these students. Together, we can create a world where individuals are free to create and achieve their dreams.”
