Young Living’s Lavender and Distillery in Mona, Utah has been formally recognized as the first Monarch Farm USA, a title granted by nonprofit Monarch City USA, a group that encourages the planting of milkweed and nectar plants to help at-risk monarch butterfly populations recover.
“Young Living is honored to have the Young Living Lavender Farm and Distillery named the first-ever Monarch Farm USA,” said Emma Ziebarth, Young Living Research Scientist. “Our waystation program reflects the conservation efforts at the core of Young Living’s mission. We do everything in our power to use sustainable practices that benefit the wider community and enact lasting, positive change in the natural environment. We hope that our farm is just the first of many across the country giving back to the planet through responsible, earth-friendly practices.”
