Mary Kay Inc. continued its commitment to supporting young women’s education through its participation in the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (Regeneron ISEF) in Columbus, Ohio. The company awarded ten grants totaling $10,000 to high school students with innovative projects.

Mary Kay Inc. awarded grants totaling nearly $10,000 to five high school students who presented projects focused on finding cures for cancers affecting women, sustainable packaging innovation and environmental protections at the Regeneron International Science & Engineering Fair in Los Angeles.

Mary Kay, through its philanthropic initiative the Mary Kay Ash Foundation, announced $2.4 million in grants that will support cancer research and domestic violence shelters around the country. The donations were given in the form of grants of $20,000 each to 60 domestic violence shelters to fund life-saving programs, services, facility upgrades, legal aid, counseling and more for women and children fleeing abuse, as well as 12 grants of $100,000 each to researchers and institutes conducting groundbreaking research in cancers that primarily affect women.

In the United States, one in four women will experience domestic violence during their lifetime. The Mary Kay Ash Foundation recently awarded grants totaling $100,000 to four North Texas domestic violence shelters.

Mary Kay, Inc., in a partnership with the European Society for Dermatological Research, awarded two $20,000 grants to researchers conducting groundbreaking, innovative studies in skin health and skin disease.
