As part of its commitment to sustainable improvements in its own sourcing, manufacturing and operations processes, Nature’s Sunshine Products has appointed Trent McCausland as Vice President of Global Sustainability and Transparency. 

The company plans to release its inaugural sustainability report next month and will outline new and renewed efforts toward sustainability, for which McCausland will help lead. In this new role, McCausland will also oversee suppliers and confirm sustainable harvesting and ethical labor practices are enforced. He will also ensure that the company’s manufacturing facilities continue efforts toward reducing their own environmental footprints.

McCausland’s experience includes two decades within Nature’s Sunshine’s supply chain team. He has also served as the leader of the company’s manufacturing task force.
