Amway announced that Rajneesh Chopra has been appointed Chief Executive for its India market. Chopra brings significant executive experience within the direct selling space and a solid track record of driving transformative change in retail, direct selling, social commerce and digital transformation.
Previously, Chopra served as Vice President of Sales for Amway North America, where he was instrumental in implementing innovative strategies that solidified Amway North America’s leadership within the company. During this time, Chopra also developed high-impact training resources in partnership with the field.
Chopra holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics honors from Delhi University, an MBA in International and Domestic Marketing from Fore School of Management in New Delhi, and completed the Leadership Executive Acceleration Program from Thunderbird School of Global Management.
In a statement, the company said Chopra is an executive who holds “insightful comprehension of human behavior and cultural nuances [that] played a crucial role in orchestrating business growth” and describe him as a leader who is “guided by unwavering personal values.”
In this new role, Chopra returns to lead Amway India with a growth-centric approach that will cultivate a culture of scalable innovation, transformative initiatives and profitability.
