Vorwerk announced it has become a member of Klimaschutz-Unternehmen e. V., a nationwide network in Germany of companies who are working to promote practical corporate climate action. Through this membership, Vorwerk continues its commitment to sustainability as a priority as it seeks to pursue its Strategy 2030 through responsible growth.
Members serve as real-world examples of companies who prioritize energy efficiency and resource conservation in their day-to-day operations, demonstrating that ecological responsibility, resource efficiency and long-term economic viability are not mutually exclusive. The group stands for “cross-sector practical knowledge transfer and exchange on concrete measures in corporate climate action.”

Vorwerk structures its own sustainability initiatives around clear goals: to reduce emissions in its operations, to work with partners to lessen environmental impact throughout the value chain and to create meaningful incentives for people who use Vorwerk products every day. With the addition of this membership, Vorwerk will expand its conversations with companies across industries and build on its preexisting memberships in the UN Global Compact and Circular Valley, while further improving its own sustainability activities.
