The Direct Sellers Association of Canada (DSA Canada) announced a partnership with Brock University in Ontario, Canada. Together, the two will lead an educational program called “Fundamental Sales Skills for Direct Sellers” that will promote and support the professionalization and long-term success of direct sellers.
The non-credit course is expected to provide practical guidance and instruction pertaining to business planning, customer engagement, ethical sales practices and compliance with industry standards and will be led in a flexible online format.
“Education and ethical conduct are cornerstones of the direct selling business model,” said Peter Maddox, DSA Canada President. “Through this partnership with Brock University, we are giving direct sellers the opportunity to strengthen their business skills and reinforce the values that are essential to long-term success in this industry.”
