Amway released its 2024 Global Impact Report. With 14,000 employees and more than one million distributors around the world, Amway’s sales reached $7.4 billion in 2024, making it the number one direct selling company in the world.

To continue investing in its success and the success of its partners, Amway is in the midst of a $127.6 million investment into its Ada, Michigan headquarters, including a nutrition manufacturing center and a research and development pilot plant facility, that will create 260 jobs for the local economy.
“This plan includes upgrades to our manufacturing, quality control, and research and development capabilities as well as office facilities,” the company wrote in a statement. “It’s a commitment to our future and to better enabling our impact around the world.”
The company’s corporate social responsibility efforts in 2024 included 47,000 volunteer hours that supported children through the Amway Taiwan Love & Companionship Tutoring Program; created independent earning opportunities for women through the Amway India Project Nari Shakti; engaged environmental cleanup through Amway Japan; and responded to crises through Amway Thailand.
Sustainability was a priority as the company saved 234,000 pounds of virgin plastic in 2024, made ongoing investments to improve energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions at its headquarters and offices around the world, and made progress by using 30% PCR packaging for select Nutrilite All Plant Protein cannisters.
As it cast vision for the future, the company acknowledged the increased consumer desire for health and wellbeing solutions, pointing to its recently launched Morning Nutrition and Gut Health products as answers for the marketplace, and reflected on leadership changes it believes will carry Amway into the future.
“In September 2024, the Amway Board of Directors appointed Michael Nelson as President & Chief Executive Officer,” said Doug DeVos and Steve Van Andel, Amway Board of Directors Co-Chairs. “This decision was made to support a strong, sustainable future. We’re confident Michael is the leader best suited to help us grow from our strengths.”
