Natura &Co announced a restructuring proposal that would integrate it into its Natura Cosmeticos subsidiary. Natura Cosmeticos would become the parent company, which the company believes would allow for a more streamlined structure that would enhance value and more readily enable future distribution of Natura Cosmeticos’ profits.
As this restructuring proceeds, Natura &Co CEO Fabio Barbosa will transition to the role of chairman and Chief Financial Officer Guilherme Castellan will exit the company. Joao Paulo Ferreira, Natura Cosmeticos CEO, and Silvia Vilas Boas, Natura Cosmeticos CFO, will remain in their roles.
The company is still considering options for sale of its Avon business outside of Latin America.
