Natura &Co announced it is now in “exclusive talks” with asset manager IG4 about Avon‘s potential sale. The company had reported it was considering a sale of its Avon business outside of Latin America in early 2024, which was abruptly paused when its Avon Products unit filed for bankruptcy protection and then resumed in late 2024.
The company’s options have included potential partnerships, spin-offs or sale. By selling or divesting from Avon, Natura &Co hopes to create a strong cash flow from Latin America that would unlock more dividends.
Avon’s US business is not owned by Natura &Co and would not be impacted by the negotiations and sale.
