Young Living Essential Oils has been accredited for technical competence in chemical testing, achieving the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation granted by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA).
The A2LA recognition certifies that Young Living’s Spanish Fork Quality Control laboratory meets international standards for testing and calibration. This includes verified lab instrumentation that is properly qualified and maintained, demonstrated validation of test methods, comprehensive data-backed audit trails for testing, and autonomous lab results that are free from external influences.
With this accreditation, Young Living’s analytical essential oil testing that takes place in-house is now ISO-accredited, meaning the company’s internal laboratory has been deemed as trustworthy and reliable as results obtained from third-party laboratories.
“This accreditation substantiates what we’ve always claimed: Our laboratory is a top-notch organization with high standards,” said Paul Hansen, Young Living Vice President of Quality Systems. “We’ve never scrimped on investing in the lab to make sure our testing is accurate and precise and that we’re returning good results for consumers.”
