Lorde + Belle announced a strategic shift from the multi-level marketing model to what it calls a Business Partner Program (BPP). The company states that this decision was based on evolving market trends and opportunities, and emphasized that the company is building a community and holds tremendous growth potential.
“This transition reflects our commitment to innovation, staying ahead of the curve and embracing positive change,” said Bill Xiang, Lorde + Belle Founder.
The new model is not strictly an affiliate program, but will be more streamlined and transparent to eliminate the complexity of the traditional volume and points systems.
“Sellers will now know exactly how much they earn in real dollars, and, on average, they can expect significantly higher earnings – as much as 2x to 4x more per product sale,” Xiang said. “Previously, confusing discounts and tiered structures made it difficult to calculate earnings. Now, simplicity and profitability go hand-in-hand.”
Lorde + Belle’s new model strategy is part of a larger pattern and follows the announcement of a number of other direct selling companies with multi-level structures switching to single-level or affiliate models in the last six months, including BODi, Seint and Rodan + Fields, as well as the closure of Beautycounter in April.
