Mary Kay Inc. participated as a bronze level sponsor at the 11th Annual World Ocean Summit & Expo in Lisbon, Portugal. As a long-time partner with The Nature Conservancy (TNC), Mary Kay has collaborated with the nonprofit on projects for more than three decades to design and execute 100 conservation projects around the world.
Mary Kay General Manager Sandra Silva shared insights through a panel discussion about the importance of incorporating gender perspectives into collaborative efforts toward marine conservation, tackling climate change and preventing biodiversity loss.
“Mary Kay’s participation at this year’s World Ocean Summit was not only about reinforcing our dedication to ocean conservation, but also about spotlighting the essential role of women in these efforts,” Silva said. “We believe that our collective actions today are pivotal for the preservation of marine ecosystems. All stakeholders left the summit with a clear vision on new synergies, a focus on actionable strategies, and soundproof solutions to enhance ocean stewardship.”
