Consumer Reports evaluated 186 air purifier models in the U.S. market and ranked them based on unbiased evaluations, consumer surveys and in-house testing. Among these air purifiers, Coway’s Airmega ProX received the highest ranking of all, with a score of 93, and was the only brand to exceed 90 points.
The Airmega ProX received a score of five out of five for owner satisfaction and predicted reliability, and received high rankings for dust, pollen and smoke removal, as well as noise and energy efficiency. Coway was also named the “Best Purifier of 2023” and the “Best Air Purifier for Wildfire Smoke” by Consumer Reports.
