Young Living Essential Oils has joined the SharedSolar program from RenewChoice to cut down on energy usage and costs at its distribution center in Spanish Fork, Utah. Through SharedSolar, the distribution center will have access to a communal solar grid that generates clean energy without having to install its own set of solar panels.
Subscribing to this community-based program is part of Young Living’s ongoing sustainability efforts, and is expected to help the company offset 80% of its power usage at the distribution center.
