The D. Gary Young, Young Living Foundation will be sponsoring a six-day service trip to Chongón, Ecuador to expand its Young Living Academy, specifically the preschool music and art building. More than a dozen people will travel to the school for the service trip and to meet with their sponsored students and families.
The academy serves 367 students and has celebrated 133 graduates in a region where an average of only 20% of children graduate high school. With this expansion, the foundation hopes to support 1,000 students.
“The Young Living Academy has served as an education hub and beacon of hope in the Chongón community since its opening,” said Marin Bryce, Executive Director of the Young Living Foundation. “Education is the key to a brighter future, and we’re excited to expand the academy to welcome even more students in the coming years.”
