Herbalife Nutrition announced it has committed more than $1 million USD to help India as it seeks to recover from the current health crisis created by COVID-19 and its lingering impact. Since April 2020, Herbalife has provided aid in the form of ICU ventilators, oxygen concentrators and PPE kits for more than ten states within the country.
“The pandemic is a public health challenge and a humanitarian crisis,” said Ajay Khanna, Vice President and India Country Head, Herbalife Nutrition. “We are committed to do everything we can to aid our communities and our nation. Herbalife Nutrition continues to provide support through the donation of medical equipment and its work with its partners to strengthen existing infrastructure. The journey to complete recovery can only be made together, and we will play our part in helping all Indians come through this.”
The company has also offered targeted assistance programs for its distributors and employees in India, including work-life balance, medical counseling, vaccination drives and supplies of oxygen concentrators.
