Kannaway has been named a winner in the 12th Annual 2020 Golden Bridge Business and Innovation Awards, the world’s premier business awards program.
Kannaway and its executives earned two prestigious Golden Bridge Awards. CEO Blake Schroeder earned a Gold Award in the Maverick of the Year category. The award organizers specifically recognized Schroeder for his role in Kannaway having obtained Bulgaria’s first authorization to sell hemp-based products in the country.
Kannaway President Stephen Jones received a Bronze Award in the Marketing Executive of the Year category. He was celebrated for leading Kannaway’s rebranding efforts in July 2019 to stand out during the CBD boom.
Kannaway Founder Dr. Stuart Titus was also recognized as CEO of parent company Medical Marijuana, Inc., with a Gold Award in the Lifetime Achievement Award category. Dr. Titus, a cannabis industry icon and innovator, was celebrated for having helped the family of companies obtain historic import permits for CBD products from four governments.
“2020 was another eventful year for Kannaway as we continue to enter into new global markets and surpass milestones,” said Schroeder. “In 2021, we plan to continue setting new industry standards and expanding access to CBD around the globe.”
The annual Golden Bridge Awards program celebrates and honors the world’s premier business achievements, innovations, products and services, and leadership across all industries. Winners for the 2020 Golden Bridge Awards were selected by a worldwide judging panel of more than 160 executives and professionals.
Golden Bridge Award winners will be honored at a virtual ceremony on December 7.
