Premier Designs Co-Founder Joan Horner Dies at 85

The co-founder of Premier Designs and wife of Andy Horner, Premier Designs’ Chief Servant Officer, passed away on Dec. 5, 2010. She and Andy were inducted into the DSA Hall of Fame in 2009.
Joan’s devotion to direct selling, DSA and DSEF were typical of her—loving expressions of support for the people and community around her. She was a warm and caring person who used direct selling to share her belief that anyone and everyone could serve and be served.
Joan and Andy founded Premier Designs in 1985 as a means to express their faith and love for God by serving people and ministries worldwide. She has been known as the Queen Mother to more than 180,000 Premier Designs’ jewelers through these years, as well as to countless hostesses whose lives have been enriched through her personal touch.
Celebration services were held Saturday, Dec. 11, at 11 a.m., at the First Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas.
Andy, along with their five children, Andrea, Mary, Tim, Sarah and Tommy, and their 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, appreciate all thoughts, prayers and support during this time of loss.
Premier Designs began in 1985 as a direct selling jewelry company, but the company’s primary focus has always been on serving people with love and integrity, seeking to enrich every life it is able to touch.

Jerry Yerke
CieAura LLC announced that Jerry Yerke, former CieAura Senior Vice President, has been appointed as the new CieAura President.
Jerry Yerke has more than 16 years in the network marketing industry and was appointed as CieAura Senior Vice President in February 2010. Affectionately known as “JY,” Yerke has a passion for impacting and changing lives with CieAura products and the business model.
CieAura is a U.S.-based direct sales company distributing CieAura Transparent Holographic Chips. Utilizing 3,000 years of science in a 21st-century delivery system, the company’s Transparent Holographic Chips are computer-programmed holograms based on sophisticated combinations of homeopathic processes.

Jeff Hill
Jeff Hill was named Beachbody’s Senior Vice President of Team Beachbody Global Sales. Hill brings more than 20 years of experience in corporate leadership and sales. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Global Sales for Tahitian Noni International, where he guided sales activities in multiple international markets as well as in the United States. He was President of Shaklee’s International business in Northern California and began his direct selling career as Senior Vice President of Sales for Melaleuca. In his seven years at Melaleuca, Hill was recognized as the driving force behind the company’s dramatic growth (now nearly $900 million in sales).
Hill served in leadership positions as Managing Consultant at Covey Leadership Center and Area Vice President at FranklinCovey, working with Fortune 500 companies at executive levels. Hill began his career in a private civil law practice. He holds a Juris Doctorate from the McGeorge School of Law at the University of the Pacific in Sacramento and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brigham Young University.
