Massachusetts-based PartyLite has been lighting up homes for 40 years with its candle, home fragrance and home décor products. The No. 31 direct selling company in the world is now being honored for its foray into a very different field: video production.
PartyLite received two prestigious Telly Awards for its “Love at First Bright” promotional video, produced in collaboration with Phanta Media. According to the company, the video “captures the unique brilliance of GloLite by PartyLite® candles—The World’s Brightest Candle™.” The Telly Awards honor excellence in television, web and film production. Entrants range from large international firms to local production companies and ad agencies.
This year’s 34th Annual Telly Awards received over 11,000 entries, and fewer than 10 percent of those were Silver Winners—the highest honor. PartyLite’s “candle tango” video received a Silver Telly in the Internet/Online Commercial category for Collectibles/Gifts and a Bronze Telly for Visual Effects for its stop motion animation.
ViSalus, mutually owned by PartyLite parent company Blyth, also received a Silver Telly for its “Vi-Anthem” video. The health and fitness company was named a Silver Winner in the Branded Content/Promotional Branding category.
The video promotes the company’s trademark 90-day Body By Vi Challenge™. “We are a company that believes that everyone’s life is limitless and full of opportunity,” says Co-Founder and CEO Ryan Blair. “The Vi-Anthem video captures our core beliefs, and hopefully, inspires others to believe in their own limitless possibilities.”
