MONAT’s philanthropic initiative MONAT Gratitude dedicated a week to serve through charitable actions and interactive giving activities that provide support for children and those in need. More than 1,500 MONAT Gratitude volunteers worldwide participated in service opportunities including:
- Local family sponsorship and on-site volunteerism at the Salvation Army and Lotus House Women’s Shelter in Miami
- A donation of CA$2,000 each to nonprofit partners in Canada
- Volunteer maintenance repairs and meal preparation at the Ronald McDonald House in the New South Walkes town of Randwick
- A collaboration with Fundación Theodora to provide pajamas for hospital patients
“Gratitude has become such a special part of our MONAT culture, and Gratitude Week is the most beautiful week of the year for us because it shows how important making a positive impact is to our entire community,” said Lu Urdaneta, CEO of MONAT Gratitude. “Each year, we challenge ourselves to impact more communities than the last, so we can always strive to help even more people than the year before.”
