ONEHOPE Announces Winemaking Team Expansion

ONEHOPE has strengthened and expanded its winery leadership team, welcoming renowned winemaker Philippe Melka and his partner Rob Mondavi Jr. to its team of vintners. The two will now collaborate with lead winemaker Isadora Frias. Mondavi Jr. previously worked with Frias to develop two of ONEHOPE’s Iconic Collection wines.

“Making wines that I’m proud of producing, and being an integral part of the ONEHOPE community that’s helping bring hope to millions of people is fulfilling,” Mondavi Jr. said. “But making a wine that reflects the innovation my father and grandfather brought to the Napa Valley, right next door to where I grew vines, makes it even more special.”

In tandem, the company is also expanding its winery management team with the additions of Angelique Ball, who joins as General Manager of the winery, and DaMarcus Wells-Buckner, who will serve as Assistant General Manager. Ball brings more than two decades of experience in the wine industry, with expertise in finance, hospitality, marketing, operations and direct sales.
