Mannatech, Incorporated announced Landen Fredrick has been promoted to the role of President and CEO following the retirement of current CEO Al Bala. Bala will continue to serve as a company advisor where he will focus on field and leadership development.
Fredrick joined Mannatech in 2006 as the Senior Director of Business Development Solutions and has served in a number of roles within the company since then, including most recently as President and Chief Operating Officer. Fredrick has been mentored by Bala over the past few years as the company prepared for this succession plan.
Fredrick will now oversee the senior executive team and the team of general managers over international markets as he seeks to drive operational excellence and execute the company’s strategic initiatives.
“Our committee of independent directors engaged in an extensive succession planning process, and together with Al’s recommendation, unanimously approved appointing Landen to CEO,” said Tyler Rameson, Mannatech board member. “With his extensive experience in sales, marketing, operations, and business development, Landen is well-positioned to lead Mannatech into its next phase of growth.”
