Following the resignation of Brent Willis earlier this year, NewAge, Inc. announced that Ed Brennan, Chair of the NewAge Board of Directors, will serve as interim Chief Executive Officer.
Brennan has been a member of the company’s board since 2017 and has served as chair since the beginning of this year. He will retain his responsibilities as Chair while the board continues its search for a new CEO.
“As the Chair of NewAge, and a shareholder, I have a deep commitment to the ongoing success of our company,” Brennan said. “I have been actively engaged with our talented bench of senior leadership, and am extremely impressed with their passion, entrepreneurial spirit and drive for success. During this transition period, we have reconfirmed our commitment to our heritage as a direct selling company, one we are proud of and will build to be among the best in our industry.”
