The Florida Direct Sellers & Consumers Coalition (FLDSCC) announced Aspen and Brent Emry have been appointed to its board of directors. Aspen and Brent co-founded Bravenly Global in 2020 and have led the company to rapid growth – doubling its annual revenue in the past year to $100 million.
The FLDSCC formally launched this month as a way to actively include company founders and their firsthand experience in conversations with policymakers and advocates to coordinate framework focused on education, consumer protection and legislative engagement within the direct selling community in Florida.
“As founders, Brent and I have seen the impact of direct selling when it’s built the right way,” Aspen said. “We’ve proudly supported the Florida Coalition since the beginning and are honored to now serve on the board to help strengthen and protect this channel through education, advocacy and integrity.”
Ryan Chamberlin, Florida State Representative, is a former direct selling professional and co-founded the FLDSCC.
“When experienced business leaders engage constructively in the legislative process, it helps ensure that policymaking is grounded in practical understanding rather than assumptions,” Chamberlin said. “Direct selling has played a positive role in Florida’s economy and communities for decades, and adding company founders who are actively building and scaling businesses today strengthens that perspective. Through this Coalition, we are creating a structured way to educate policymakers, business leaders and the public on how to protect this free-enterprise model — not only in Florida, but in a way that can serve as a reference point for other states as well.”
