Seldia, the European Direct Selling Association, announced that Alberto De Franceschi has been named Chairperson of the European Code Administrator, or Ethics Committee. De Franceschi is a professor of Private Law, Consumer and Market Law, Digital Law and Environmental Sustainability at the University of Ferrara. He also serves as Ambassador’s Chair in Artificial Intelligence and Sustainability at KU Leuven.

De Franceschi is an Italian expert who serves as a consultant to several international organizations. He succeeds Professor Evelyne Terryn, who resigned following her appointment as Vice-Rector of KU Leuven.
