Coway’s Airmega Might2 (AP-1512N) was named to TIME’s Best Inventions of 2026 list in the Household category. TIME editors and correspondents around the world comprised the judging panel, which evaluated products based on originality, efficacy, ambition and impact. TIME described the original Airmega Mighty as a “Reddit darling” and stated that the Mighty2 iteration is a “double-duty air purifier” that is even better than its predecessor.
TIME praised the Airmega Mighty2 for its quiet operations, slide-out washable pre-filter, more efficient energy usage and the ability to clean up to 1,800 square feet in an hour, and specifically highlighted the product’s MegaScan Laser Sensor, which detects fine particles like those found in wildfire smoke or cooking emissions.
