Coway Co., Ltd. was honored at the 2026 Good Design Awards, winning a Bronze Award, or the Korean Agency for Technology and Standards (KATS) President’s Award for Ergonomic Design, for its BEREX 7 Stretching Motion Bed. Additionally, the company’s BEREX Pebble Chair 2 and BEREX M Series Massage Mattress were also selected as Good Design products.
The event was hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and organized by the Korean Institute of Design Promotion (KDP) and is described as the “most prestigious design award in South Korea.” At the event, a panel of design experts evaluated the appearance, function, material and economic efficiency of products to determine whether or not they would be granted the government-certified Good Design mark.
“We are thrilled that the innovative designs of our new BEREX products, which harmonize naturally with any space while focusing on the essence of sleep and rest, have once again been recognized for their excellence with the Good Design Award, following our Grand Slam at the world’s top four design awards,” a Coway official wrote in a statement. “We will continue to introduce innovative products and services that elevate the dignity of residential spaces and provide customers with the ultimate relaxation.”
