Plexus Worldwide announced it has received a patent from the US Patent Office for its product Immune +. The plant-based supplement was designed by the company’s in-house Research and Development team to support the body’s defense system.
“We secured this patent by proving our unique ingredient combination activates cytokines to influence immune response,” said Dr. Michael Hartman, PhD, Plexus Worldwide Vice President of Research and Development. “Human cell studies showed the superfood blend in Immune + enhances immune response by encouraging normal immune cell activity.”
The utility patent protects the product’s highly-researched formula, which features black rice extract, prebiotic mushrooms, ascorbic acid and antioxidant blend.
