Tupperware announced it will close its operations in Vietnam, effective December 31, 2024. The brand launched in Vietnam in 2013 and opened its first retail store in 2016, growing to approximately 250 stores nationwide.
This announcement follows Tupperware’s bankruptcy filing earlier this year after releasing statements of concern about its ability to continue operations. It released plans to permanently close its US factory in Orlando, Florida at the end of the year and will lay off 145 employees.
