Plexus Worldwide supported critical cardiac care for children by hosting the 7th Annual Pima Center Walk for Phoenix Children’s Center for Heart Care. More than 600 community members walked to raise money for the hospital, contributing a total of more than $137,000. The event featured multiple family-friendly walk routes and a festival atmosphere with food trucks, a corn maze, live entertainment and more.
Previous patients of Phoenix Children’s shared their stories from the stage about their positive care and recovery experiences at the Heart Care center, including Plexus Worldwide IT employee Karsten Locano, who is a lifelong patient of Phoenix Children’s Center for Heart Care.
“We are incredibly grateful to everyone who participated in this year’s walk, whether by joining us in person or contributing donations,” said Alec Clark, Plexus Worldwide President and Co-Founder. “This event is a powerful reminder of what our community can achieve when we come together. The funds raised will help Phoenix Children’s continue providing world-class cardiac care to children.”
