For the sixth consecutive year, Plexus Worldwide participated in Hunger Action Month as part of its continued mission to combat hunger through donations and volunteer hours. A Feeding America initiative, Hunger Action Month is designed to raise awareness about food insecurity and inspire action from local and national communities.
As a Mission Partner of Feeding America, Plexus committed to donating a portion of its sales from its Lean and Active products through September. This action alone resulted in 811,261 meals donated. Plexus also engaged in a company-wide Week of Service, donating $15,000 and helping pack emergency and senior food boxes through 404 volunteer hours at St. Mary’s Food Bank.
Each of these efforts are part of Plexus’ larger goal to donate 45 million meals to those in need by the end of 2024.
